Blue Oyster Cult claimed a place in hard rock history in 1967, and the ever-evolving metal band maintained it for more than four decades.

Best known for their hit singles, "The Reaper," "Burnin' for You" and "Godzilla," the Long Island, New York-based legends have sold 25 million records worldwide.

Described alternately as heavy metal, psychedelic rock, occult rock and progressive rock, Blue Oyster Cult's music has been influenced by other hard-hitting legends, such as Alice Cooper, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix and Black Sabbath.

The band's current line-up includes longtime members Buck Dharma (1967) on lead guitar, lead vocals and backing vocals, and Eric Bloom (1969) on lead vocals and backing vocals. Band member Danny Miranda (bass, backing vocals) joined the band in 1995; Richie Castellano (keyboards, rhythm guitar, additional lead guitar, backing vocals and additional lead vocals) joined in 2007, and Jules Radino (drums, percussion) joined in 2004.

Special guests Mark Farner's American Band will open the limited-capacity show. Farner was lead singer and lead guitarist for Grand Funk Railroad until the group disbanded for good in the late '80s.

The limited-capacity concert will include distance seating and enhanced safety protocols including contactless digital ticketing, face covering requirements and mobile ordering for concessions.
