The St. Johns County Cattlemen's Association will host its 62nd Annual Cracker Day Celebration on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at the St. Johns County Fairgrounds in Elkton.
Cracker Day showcases and honors cracker horses, which were brought to the Americas by the Spanish. "Cracker" also refers to a cowboy who uses a whip to round up cattle, which makes a cracking sound.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase, including barbecue. Each year, the St. Johns County Cattleman's Association names a special honoree, which is announced at the celebration.
Parking is available.
Admission: $5 per car (cash only). Registration to compete in the horse games ranges from $5 to $15.
