The St. Augustine Ballet performs Rapunzel at Flagler College Lewis Auditorium on Saturday, May 16, 2026. There are two performances: a matinee at 1:30 p.m. and an evening performance at 7:00 p.m.

Rapunzel tells the classic fairytale of an entrapped beauty in a tower and her trail of long hair. Until a prince comes along, she is all by herself, hidden from the outside world. This story engages families and younger audiences with this familiar ballet.

The St. Augustine Ballet offers performance opportunities to ballet dancers from St. Johns County and the surrounding area. The company uses professional dancers to create large ballet shows alongside local students, who learn throughout the process. This is one of two full-length productions performed yearly, including The Nutcracker. The St. Augustine Ballet is a nonprofit performing arts organization founded in 2010.

Admission: Adults are $35.00. Children 18 and younger are $15.00. More information can be found here.
