
American singer/songwriter John Legend comes to the St. Augustine Amphitheatre on July 25, 2014. The artist will sing tons of crowd-favorites including "All of Me," "Ordinary People," "Green Light," and others.
John Legend was born in Ohio where he began to sing Gospel and play piano at the age of five. When Legend was 16 years old he attended college at The University of Pennsylvania, where he performed his music in front of larger crowds. Legend's first big gig was playing the piano for singer Lauryn Hill's "Everything is Everything," a Top 40 hit. After graduating from college the singer/songwriter moved to New York, playing in local clubs and bars in hopes of promoting himself, along with his music. Legend was offered many musical roles, playing piano for artists such as Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Janet Jackson, and many others.
In 2004 John Legend signed with G.O.O.D. Music Label, and released his first studio album Get Lifted. His single "Ordinary People" reached the top five on the Billboard 100 chart, which led to three Grammy Awards. Wake Up!, released in 2010, won the Grammy Award for Best R&B Album. Following his extreme success, Legend went on tour with Sade, collaborated with different producers and writers, and released another album that peaked at the Top Ten of the Billboard 200 Chart. To this day Legend continues to release chart topping hits, including his latest single "All of Me," which peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

When? Friday, July 25, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. The gates open at 6:00 p.m.
Parking Information: The St. Augustine Amphitheatre is located on Anastasia Island next to Anastasia State Park and Recreation Area. There is very limited on-site parking so visitors must utilize accessible satellite parking facilities. Each satellite parking area is located within 1 mile of the Amphitheatre. Satellite Parking Lots are located behind RB Hunt Elementary, at RB Hunt Elementary and the Elks Lodge.
Shuttle Information: The St. Augustine Amphitheatre Shuttle system begins its run one and half hours prior to show time. The Shuttle will pick up event patrons at two designated shuttle stops & the soccer field behind RB Hunt Elementary School. Shuttles will run continuously until approximately one hour after the scheduled start time of a concert.
