Fall Members Art Show 2017

    The St. Augustine Art Association hosts its annual Fall Members Show in October 2017. The Art Association will host an opening reception during the First Friday Art Walk on October 6, and the exhibit will run through Sunday, October 29, 2017.

    This juried exhibit showcases the works of St. Augustine Art Association members and is open to all subjects and media, including oil on canvas, sculpture, fiber-work and more. Guests can enjoy the range of expressive artwork produced by St. Augustine Art Association members, including local and regional artists who create works of art from canvases, woodworks, lighting, glass art, and more.

    An independent jury selects outstanding artists in various media and give out monetary prize awards, including the Jean Wagner Troemel Best of Show. Other awards include the Ted Karam Memorial for Best Sculpture; the Carl Steinsieck Memorial for Best Figure Drawing; the Emmett Fritz Memorial for Best Landscape Oil Painting and the Ann James Memorial for Best Pastel Portrait. Winners are announced at the opening reception.

    The St. Augustine Art Association is open from 12 to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The gallery is closed on Mondays.

    Admission: FREE.

    When: Opening reception will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. during the First Friday Art Walk on October 6, 2017. The exhibit will be on display through Sunday, October 29, 2017.

    Where: The St. Augustine Art Association is located at 22 Marine St. in downtown St. Augustine, FL 32084.
