14th Annual Santa Suits on the Loose 5K

Presented by Herbie Wiles Insurance, St. Augustine Youth Services proudly announces the 14th Annual Santa Suits on the Loose 5K, taking place at St. Johns County Ocean Pier on Saturday, December 12, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. 

Known as "The Merriest Race in Northeast Florida," runners, walkers, and joggers are welcome to participate in this flat course through St. Augustine Beach neighborhoods. The first 75 participants to sign up may choose between a Santa suit or t-shirt. After that, participants are given a Santa-themed t-shirt, and all finishers receive medals. 

A family-friendly and festive party after the race features face painting, live music, and "snow." 

Beneficiary

Proceeds from the race are donated to St. Augustine Youth Services (SAYS) to help provide positive experiences for at-risk youth during the holidays. SAYS runs family-style group homes, providing counseling, care, and coaching to at-risk youth.

Registration: $30.00 per person. Registration opens on March 15, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.

When: Saturday, December 12, 2026, starting at 8:00 a.m.

Where: St. Augustine Beach Pier, 350 A1A, St. Augustine, Florida 32080

Packet Pickup: Friday, December 11, 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the ROAR Training Center, 2085 A1A S, St. Augustine, Florida 32080

Teams: The team with the most participants receives a traveling trophy.
