  • The St. Augustine Amphitheatre presents Foreigner in concert with a special performance by The Dave Eggar Orchestra on Friday, March 16, 2018, beginning at 8:00 p.m.

Universally hailed as one of the most popular rock acts in the world, Foreigner has been selling out tours and rocking album sales for decades now.  Founder and Songwriters Hall of Fame member Mick Jones is the core of the group, who reformed the band after a hiatus in 2002 with lead singer Kelly Hansen, bassist Jeff Pilson, multi-instrumentalist Tom Gimbel, guitarist Bruce Watson, keyboardist Michael Bluestein, and drummer Chris Frazier.

Many of Foreigner’s beloved hits were featured on the Rock of Ages soundtrack, including “I Want to Know What Love Is,” “Juke Box Hero,” and “Waiting For a Girl Like You.” Some other Foreigner favorites are “Cold As Ice,” “Feels Like the First Time,” “Urgent,” and “Hot Blooded,” just to name a few. Foreigner’s album sales (Double Vision, Agent Provacateur, and more) have topped 75 million in sales. Their songs have been featured in such movie and TV shows as Orange is the New Black, Anchorman2, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and Netflix’s Stranger Things.

Another hailed ensemble, The Dave Eggar Orchestra, will share the stage with Foreigner. Dave Eggar is an American cellist, pianist, and composer.
