The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall presents Jake Shimabukuro on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. 

Known for his virtuoso abilities on the ukulele, Jake Shimabukuro blends traditional Hawaiian sounds with contemporary rock riffs to create a new hybrid sound.  His shows are filled with a mixture of original tunes and spontaneous improvisations of famous songs. Shimabukuro began his solo career in 2002 and became the first ukulele player to sign with Sony Music. He became a viral success on YouTube with his cover of "While My Guitar Weeps." Shimabukuro frequently tops Billboard's World Music Charts. Some of his well-known songs are "Hula Girl" and "Rainbow." 

Admission: Tickets range from $34.50 to $59.50 and can be purchased online or at the Amphitheater Box Office on Anastasia Island, which is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, and from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays.

Parking Information: Free parking will be available onsite. For events not produced by the St. Johns County Cultural Events Division, parking fees will be at the discretion of the event producer.
