The Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center celebrates the reopening of their renovated Excelsior Room with a series of Jazz Concerts in 2026. The first concert features Myrna Clayton and the Myrna Clayton Experience on their "Jazz Heals Humanity Tour," Friday, February 20, 2026, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The Myrna Clayton Experience

Selected as U.S. Cultural Ambassadors in 2018, the Myrna Clayton Experience traveled to U.S. embassies in five Baltic countries to share their American music. Since then, the group has continued touring internationally, in Africa and Central America.

Clayton is known for her soul-filled jazz style, versatility, and mastery of jazz standards. From Atlanta, Clayton performs frequently in her home city to sold-out audiences. Clayton is also a keynote speaker, sharing inspirational messages and songs in her "Keynote Concerts."

Marcus Williams is the group's music director and drummer. He is a touring artist and studio owner with experience on stage and screen. Gary Harris plays tenor and Ewi/soprano saxophone. Harris has opened for or shared the stage with Kim Waters, Gerald Albright, Tower of Power, and The Gap Band. Myron Foster, bassist, has more than 20 years of experience as a professional musician and is known for his approach to "funk grooving." He's performed with several other artists, as a solo artist, and as a bandleader. Tony Castillo plays keyboards. He is known as a versatile pianist and a music educator with training from Berklee College of Music.
