Texas rock, electric blues, and jazz blues virtuoso Jimmie Vaughan is best known for standout tracks like "Dengue Woman Blues," "Six Strings Down," and "Just a Game." Inspired by legends such as B.B. King and Johnny "Guitar" Watson, the Texas native began his musical journey with a band called The Pendulums before joining The Chessmen in 1966. A memorable performance alongside Jimi Hendrix early in his career showcased Vaughan's signature sound and set him apart as a rising talent.
Gaining national acclaim with The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Vaughan eventually launched a solo career in 1994. This next chapter brought collaborations and stage appearances with icons like Hubert Sumlin, B.B. King, Eric Clapton, and even The Foo Fighters. With more than 200,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and other platforms, Vaughan remains a beloved figure in the blues world.
He has performed at major events, including the Crossroads Guitar Festival, Madison Square Garden, and the Mahindra Blues Festival, as well as on renowned television programs such as Austin City Limits.
