Limelight Theatre — 9 to 5: The Musical

Limelight Theatre presents 9 to 5: The Musical, based on the iconic 1980 movie, from Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, August 11, 2024. The Sunday shows begin at 2:00 p.m.; all the other shows begin at 7:30 p.m.

This lively and funny musical includes the songs written by Dolly Parton. The book was adapted by Paula Resnick, based on the screenplay she had written with Collin Higgins. The play debuted on Broadway in April 2009 and received 15 Drama Desk nominations and four Tony nominations. 

For those who don't know the story, three female co-workers get revenge on their male boss and create a better work environment for the entire office. There will be singing, a bit of slapstick, and some misdirection.

Admission:  All general admission tickets are $32.50, except on the first Thursday of each production (Preview Night) and on one Tuesday (Terrific Tuesday,) when they are $22.50  Student "Rush Tickets" are $10.00, when available, 30 minutes before the curtain. Box office hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. It is possible to purchase tickets online.

When: From Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, August 11. Sunday shows are matinees and start at 2:00 p.m. The performances on all other days start at 7:30 p.m. Terrific Tuesday is on July 30.
