Limelight Theatre: Always a Bridesmaid

Limelight Theatre presents Always a Bridesmaid, a romp about women's friendship and how far that goes, beginning on Thursday, June 13, through Sunday, July 7, 2024. The Sunday shows will be 2:00 p.m. matinees. All other shows will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Written by the playwright trio of Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten, Always a Bridesmaid takes place 30 years after four friends had sworn to be in each other's wedding, "no matter what." Now, long after that senior prom, the four have traveled the different paths of long-married, never-married, too-often married, and almost-married. Still, they support each other, offering advice, aid, and bouquets in the quest to create the perfect wedding.

Admission: Regular tickets range from $27.50 to $32.50. Discounted tickets are $22.50 on the first Thursday of each production (Preview Night) and on one Tuesday (Terrific Tuesday). Student "Rush Tickets" are $10.00, when available, 30 minutes before the curtain. Box office hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. It is possible to purchase tickets online.

When: First Thursday is June 13, and opening night is Friday, June 14. Shows run through July 7, on Thursdays through Sundays. Sunday shows are matinees and start at 2:00 p.m. The performances on all other days start at 7:30 p.m. Terrific Tuesday is June 25.
