Limelight Theatre: Annie

Limelight Theatre presents the musical Annie, from Thursday, December 4 through Sunday, December 21, 2025. The Sunday shows begin at 2:00 p.m.; all the other shows start at 7:30 p.m.

The stage version of Annie is based on the popular Harold Gray comic strip, "Little Orphan Annie," and features a book by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse, and lyrics by Martin Charnin. Like the comic, the play is set in Depression-era New York City, where the spunky orphan Annie dreams of finding her parents. Her journey leads her from the clutches of the tyrannical Miss Hannigan to the home of billionaire Oliver Warbucks, who takes her in for Christmas. Along the way, Annie's optimism touches everyone she meets, including President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Admission:

• General admission tickets are $35.00. The Limelight does not offer lower prices for seniors, students, or the military during musical productions.
• Deal tickets for the first Thursday of each production (Preview Night, December 4) and on one Tuesday (Terrific Tuesday, December 16) are $25.00.
• Student "Rush Tickets" are $15.00, when available, 60 minutes before the curtain.
• Box office hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., or purchase tickets online.

When: On Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from Thursday, December 4 through Sunday, December 21, 2025. Sunday shows are matinees and start at 2:00 p.m. The performances on all other days begin at 7:30 p.m. Preview Thursday is December 4 and Terrific Tuesday is December 16.
