On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., the Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center (LMCC) will host a grand opening for the expanded civil rights exhibit.

In honor of the many Lincolnville residents who marched and fought for civil rights, and of the 60th anniversary of the passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, LMCC has updated and enhanced the displays highlighting the civil rights events in St. Augustine. The exhibit has an interactive display that includes interviews of civil rights activists who worked to fight against racial discrimination. Both local and national activists are included in the videos.

Admission: Admission is free with a reservation via Eventbrite.

When: Tuesday, June 11, 2024, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Where: The Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center, 102 Martin Luther King Avenue, St. Augustine, Florida 32084

This event is funded, in part, by The St. Johns County Cultural Council, the St. Johns County Tourism Development Council, and the Florida Division of Arts and Culture.
