With more than 61,000 listeners and followers across Spotify and other platforms, he brings a vibrant blend of Americana, rock, folk, and blue-eyed soul to audiences everywhere.
A New Yorker by birth, Sexton began his performing career on the streets of Boston in the ’80s. His first collection of recordings, released in 1991, sold more than 15,000 copies. In 1994, the National Academy of Songwriters honored him with its Artist of the Year Award, further cementing his ascent in the music world.
Sexton’s work has been featured in television shows such as Masters of Sex, Scrubs, and the family drama Parenthood. Rolling Stone praised him for his “soul-marinated voice,” a testament to the depth and character that define his sound.
