The Matanzas Riverkeeper organization celebrates their anniversary on December 6, 2024, with an oyster roast at Genung's Fish Camp from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.

This nonprofit organization has worked to preserve and protect the Guana, Tolomato, and Matanzas rivers and their estuaries since the early 1990s. This yearly celebration lets volunteers, conservationists, and folks who play and work on the river celebrate the Matanzas Riverkeeper organization's dedication and progress.

Their mission is "to protect the health of the Guana, Tolomato, Matanzas estuary and watershed through advocacy, education, and community engagement."

Admission: $50.00 per person. Purchase tickets in advance, here.
