Military Veteran Fishing: Bait Workshop
Master the art of angling through hands-on experience.
St. Johns County Parks and Recreation invites veterans to a special fishing bait workshop at Vaill Point Park on Thursday, February 22, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Activities consist of hands-on experience with various bait options with instructions on how and when to use each bait. While everyone is encouraged to bring their own equipment, gear is provided to anyone who needs it.
Participants will need a valid shoreline saltwater fishing license or fall under the exempt criteria, which is determined by the FWC. Find out more about getting a fishing license.
In thanks for their service, this event is only open to military veterans.
