Pecha Kucha: Good Grief
On December 10, 2026, the St. Augustine chapter of Pecha Kucha presents ten speakers offering their perspectives on the topic, Good Grief, at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, where Routes 207 and 312 meet. Held on Thursday, December 10, 2026, the evening starts with a social hour at 6:00 p.m., with time to chat and to purchase food and drink. The presenters begin at 7:00 p.m.
For over 13 years, the St. Augustine chapter of Pecha Kucha has presented local people sharing personal stories and photos on a particular topic. At PK events, pre-selected presenters discuss their experiences and unique perspective on the evening's theme, while 20 slides illustrating their talk are each shown for 20 seconds. With this 20X20 format, each speaker has only 6 minutes and 40 seconds to speak.
At every Pecha Kucha Night, you can expect to learn, laugh, empathize, and even be surprised, as you enjoy personal stories and several perspectives on the topic. With the topic on December 10: Good Grief, the speakers have the opportunity to discuss loss, resilience, moving forward, and letting go of things large and small.
Families are always encouraged to attend Pecha Kucha events; however, some presentations on this theme may include concepts and language not appropriate for younger audience members.
