Pirate 5K & Lil' Matey Race
Hosted by Palencia Club, this 5K and fun run benefits Palencia Elementary School.
The annual Pirate 5K & Lil' Matey Race is hosted by the Palencia Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), which is a non-profit organization. All proceeds from this event will benefit the building of a Playground Sunshade for the students at Palencia Elementary School.
Runners and walkers will begin the race, with free parking, at the Palencia Club, and enjoy a route through the beautiful tree-canopied Palencia community.
Awards will be given out to the top three male and female winners in each age category. A One-Mile Family Fun Run will take place immediately after the 5K. All participants will receive a t-shirt and finisher medal for both races, the 5K and the fun run.
Admission: Registration is $15.00 to $30.00.
