(904) 824-8874On Friday, September 30, 2016, Derek Coghlan will perform a one-man show entitled, "Rethinking the Barbarian," in the Pioneer Barn at Fort Menendez. Hailing from Ireland, Coghlan will weave his narrative around his exit from his home country and move to America.
Written and performed by Coghlan, "Rethinking the Barbarian" explores an immigrant's take on "the weird and wonderful ways that what is ordinary and commonplace to a native are odd, bizarre, and often intimidating to a new arrival."
Admission: Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students.
When: Friday, September 30, 2016, from 8 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.
Where: The Pioneer Barn at Fort Menendez is located at 259 San Marco Avenue in St. Augustine, Florida.
