St. Johns County Parks and Recreation hosts two Jaws of the Sea walks on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Mussallem Beachfront Park: 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., and 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

The naturalist guiding the tour discusses the region's common species, shark biology, local research about sharks, and human and shark encounters. You may even find a shark tooth that you can take home. With changes to currents and erosion from the ocean, nature carries hidden treasures to shore.

This family-friendly event is free. Register online to secure a spot

Admission: Admission is free, but reservations are required.

When: Tuesday, June 23, 2026. The first walk is from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. The second walk is from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Where: Mussallem Beachfront Park at 3365 Coastal Highway, St. Augustine, Florida 32084.
