Stop Making Sense (1984), an immersive film based on the performance by the iconic band the Talking Heads, has been remastered and is presented to audiences for cinematic viewing to showcase its musical and creative artistry. Directed by mastermind Jonathan Demme, the film captures the band's stage performances from December 1983. It highlights the work of Tina Weymouth, Jerry Harrison, David Byrne, and Chris Franz, along with appearances by Edna Holt, Alex Weir, and others.
Fans and media outlets celebrate this cinematic showcase, as it reveals a pivotal moment in the 80s music and entertainment scene.
Admission: This is a free community event, but tickets must be reserved in advance. Friday is sold out, but tickets for Saturday are available.

Local Box Office: As of August 1, 2025, the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall box office is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., seven days a week, and they sell tickets to performances at PVCH and the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.
