Tale Tellers Drew Sappington and Wayne Sims, storytellers with both a sense of history and a sense of humor, will perform tales from St. Augustine's history on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
Drew and Wayne relate tales about everything from Native Americans attacking pirates to Ralph Waldo Emerson's contretemps with banking Methodists.
Mr. Sappington and Mr. Simms are both acclaimed storytellers with a national following. As local residents, they are none better equipped to perform stories about our Spanish Dons, English Pirates, and Florida Crackers.
Admission: $10.00 per person at the door or order them online here.
When: Sunday, January 21, at 2:00 p.m.
Where: The Waterworks at 184 San Marco Avenue. Parking is available on-site. See below for directions by vehicle.
Getting There: While the address is 184 San Marco Avenue, the only driveway on San Marco is Exit Only, so it is not available to access the Waterworks.
