The award-winning guitarist and banjo-player, Tony Furtado comes to St. Augustine to perform music from his new album.

Café 11 at St. Augustine Beach hosts talented local and national artists nearly every week. The popular singer/songwriter, Tony Furtado will perform at Café 11 on May at 9 p.m. Brent Byrd will also be featured at this performance.

Tony Furtado is an indie artist who performs spectacular live performances! He has toured all over the globe including the UK, Germany, and more. He is hailed as a proficient slide guitarist and banjo player; adding his own unique twist on the instruments. Furtado's musical style is a creative blend between Americana and indie-rock.

Furtado has recently released his fifteenth album, Golden, and it features Furtado's full spectrum of talents as he produced and wrote every track on the record. His latest record includes sweet melodies, and a powerful undercurrent of instrumentation. Furtado is an award-winning banjo and slide guitar player who has recorded with the names like Allison Krauss, Kelly Joe Phelps, and Jerry Douglas.

Brent Byrd been touring the U.S. for the past 2 years in his RV.  He currently has 2 full length self-released solo albums Time To Start Livin' and Evolution Of The Free. His musical style combines the island sounds similar to Bob Marley with the rock 'n' roll vibrations of artists like Jimi Hendrix, and folk-y tunes like that of Bob Dylan. Byrd known as an explosive live performer. In order to fully express himself as a solo artist, he incorporates loops and multiple instruments to create powerful acoustic jams. ​
