Venardos Circus

The Venardos Circus is setting up its big top at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre again this year, with always entertaining performers, musicians, acrobats, and clowns. An annual tradition during the holiday season, the traveling troupe will perform over three weeks from December 29, 2024, through January 5, 2025, with at least one 90-minute performance each day. Several days will have multiple shows — each lasting 90 minutes. 

Created and produced by former Ringling Bros. Ringmaster, Kevin Venardos, the Venardos Circus pays tribute to the traditional circus experience with a new-generation mix of Broadway-style and high-quality circus arts in an intimate setting under the red-striped tent.

The performance combines stage artistry, aerialists, acrobatics, dancing, daredevilry, music, and magic. Each performance is 90 minutes with a brief intermission. An interactive pre-show party begins one hour before each show time, where guests can meet the cast and play some games. The entire show is inside a traditional circus tent that seats 300 people. All the classic circus snacks are available — popcorn, cotton candy, hot dogs, and lemonade. No performing animals are involved in the show.

NOTE:    1. On Saturday, December 23, at 2:00 p.m. there will be a bilingual performance in English and Spanish.
              2. On Thursday, December 28, 2023, there will be a Sensory Friendly Performance at 4:00 p.m. During this one performance there will be fewer lighting changes and the music and voice volume will be reduced. Admission: General Admission - $27.95 for adults; $16.95  for youth under 13. Premium Gallery seating is 39.95 for adults and 27.95 for youth under 13. Ringmaster VIP Seating is $54.95 for all ages.
