Walk in My Shoes: St. Augustine

Lauren's Kids Foundation and the Betty Griffin Center join forces to host the St. Augustine section of the 2026 Walk in My Shoes to commemorate Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The walk starts at 10:30 a.m. on April 17, 2026, at Canopy Shores Park in St. Augustine Shores and continues to 2450 Old Moultrie Road, the Betty Griffin Center offices. There, enjoy refreshments before continuing another four miles to Francis Field, or end your walk at the four-mile mark.

This walk is part of a 1,500-mile route from Key West north to Jacksonville, and then west to Tallahassee. A local walk is held in 25 cities along the way. You can carpool with two cars and leave one at Canopy Shores, or use a provided UBER code to get a ride back after your walk.

Beneficiary

Lauren's Kids Foundation raises awareness, educates communities, and empowers the survivors of child sexual abuse.

Event Details

Registration: $25.00 to walk, and you can register online before midnight on April 16, 2026.

When: Friday, April 17, 2026, starting at 10:30 a.m.

Packet Pickup: If there is a packet, you can get it before the start of the walk, between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m.
