    Café Eleven hosts performances of local and regional artists every week. This week Indie-Folk artist Willie Porter will perform with Bluegrass artist Brent Byrd.

    Willie Porter is a highly accomplished guitar artist and singer/songwriter. The musician began treating crowds in Wisconsin starting in 1990. He’s been on many tours throughout the United States, Canada, the UK, and Europe. Porter toured with Tori Amos, The Cranberries, Paul Stimon, and Sting. Between 1994 and 2003, the artist released four studio-length discs, that truthfully captures the energy of the delightful performer. In 2005, Porter opened his own studio for fellow artists, Weasel Records. Willy continues to make and perform music today while living with his family in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

    Brent Byrd, a Bluegrass singer from St. Augustine, Florida, has been touring the United States for the past 2 years. His two solo albums, Time To Start Livin’ and Evolution of the Free showcase his tenacious lyrics and smooth melodies. Byrd has shared the stage with Jason Mraz, Shinedown, and Papa Roach.
