Words and Music Series: Classical Guitar Ensemble

EMMA Concert Association presents another in their series of free events, "Words and Music at the Waterworks," on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

This Concert

St. Johns Classical Guitar Ensemble performs a diverse repertoire of classical and pop selections, all arranged for the classical guitar. This Northeast Florida ensemble includes youth guitarists and experienced professionals and teachers. In addition, a bass guitarist, mandolin player, and flutist join the ensemble on select songs. During concerts, select musicians perform solos and duets. 

The St. Johns Classical Guitar Ensemble meets every Thursday evening for rehearsals and welcomes new members.

EMMA Concert Association's commitment to education and promoting the arts has led them to create the Words and Music Series, a mixture of music, spoken word performances, and theatre. Throughout the season, EMMA presents diverse artists in free performances at the Waterworks.

When: Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Where: The St. Augustine Waterworks, 184 San Marco Avenue, St. Augustine, Florida. See below for directions by vehicle.

Getting There: While the address is 184 San Marco Avenue, the only driveway on San Marco is Exit Only, so it is not available to access the Waterworks. Access to the Waterworks is through the St. Augustine Main Library parking lot, on the opposite side of the complex. (Use 1960 North Ponce de Leon in your GPS.)
