Brothers Futch

Brian Futch and his brother, Bobby, are local guys who grew up in St. Augustine. Brian left in 1986 to see the world via the U.S. Army and then settled down north of Florida. Always, when he would return to St. Augustine on vacation, he and Bobby would get out the instruments and play covers and original music — just as they did when they were both in high school.

Brian kept playing and honing his music and songwriting skills while living away, spending time as a staff writer in Nashville and continuing to write and perform. Now, he's moved back to St. Augustine where Brian on lead guitar and lead vocals and Bobby on bass and back-up vocals often play as a duo. Sometimes other musicians will sit in, including James Nicholson on the drums — always under the appropriate name of the "Brothers Futch."
