Founded by Tom and Anne Uhr in 1966, the Shady Grove Ramblers are an institution in the American Bluegrass scene. Though the band has been composed of many instrumentalists, the current line-up is thus: Tom Uhr (lead vocals and guitar), Loyd ‘Stinky’ Hinch (mandolin and tenor vocals), Buddy King (banjo and bass vocals), Kenny Sewell (fiddle), Ferrell Stowe (DoBro guitar), and Dean Morrow (upright bass). The combination of these musicians results in a classic bluegrass sound.
