The band Hippies & Cowboys walking across a pasture

Hippies & Cowboys

Rock 'n' soul: Mowtown meets southern rock in a fresh sound from Nashville.

The band Hippies & Cowboys employs the concept of rock 'n' soul, which astonishes listeners with memories of music that they had loved in bygone times. Taking an old sound, and bringing an invigorating element to it, it has been overwhelmingly received by audiences. Add some horns, and you get the unique sound of Hippies & Cowboys. From the first time that they performed their original music, which "blew the roof off the place," the band found that listeners wanted to hear originals, and not just covers of familiar favorites. The show left listeners begging for an encore.
