The Lightner Museum presents 75 for 75: Lightner Museum Diamond Anniversary Exhibition, which will open to the public on Friday, February 3, 2023.

The Lightner Museum presents an exhibit that harkens back to the late 1800s, when Americans were first enthralled with bicycles: "Ride On! Historic Bicycles from the Collection of Keith Pariani."

Before there was a Lightner Museum, the Alcazar Hotel welcomed tourists from the North, who enjoyed the fine dining, the indoor swimming pool, the steam rooms, and the bicycle excursions. Cafe Eleven presents Popa Chubby in their listening room on Tuesday, October 14, and Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 8:00 p.m.

Influenced by legendary rock and blues artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Muddy Waters, Led Zepplin, and Howlin' Wolf, Chubby continues to re-create timeless classics, release albums, and amaze audiences worldwide. Throughout the 1990s, Chubby released multiple albums and maintained a rigorous schedule, gracing hundreds of clubs annually. His talent allowed him to perform as an opening act at numerous blues festivals.

Prohibition Kitchen hosts "Speakeasy for a Cure" to raise funds for the American Cancer Society on Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.

This Roaring Twenties-themed event features live music by Blair Crimmins & the Hookers, an auction, and dancing. Menu items include hors d'oeuvres made the way they did during that era. 

The Limelight Theater hosts Barcelona Lights, an evening with two outstanding guitarists, Yael Dray and  Jonathan Dotson who are joined by percussionist Dorian Lopez. Together, the three musicians present an evening of Flamenco and Spanish music. 

This music genre was created by Spanish migrants, often called gypsies or gitanos. Their music is expressieve, percussive and souful and this trio of talented local musicians bring it to life.

Cafe Eleven presents Mishka in their listening room on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. 

Touring throughout countries such as Japan, Australia, and Europe, Mishka has become an influential part of Caribbean culture and music. His addictive vocals, rhythms, and beats have fans actively following his albums and achievements.

Mishka's albums have debuted at the top of the Billboard Reggae charts and Itunes Reggae charts.
