Country singer and songwriter McCoy Moore is originally a Florida boy who visited Nashville in 2018 for a Luke Comb show. An unexpected meet-and-greet with songwriter Dan Hutson, followed with him viewing a video of McCoy singing, led to an inspirational nudge to pursue a music career in Nashville. And McCoy did just that. Currently, he continues to create original music and has released songs on streaming platforms such as, "Take Me Back," "Built in a Day," "Heaven Walked out the Door," and more.

Joshua Hedley says that "When all my friends went to college, I went to Nashville." He studied, performed, wrote songs, mastered multiple instruments, and considers himself to be a "singing professor of country music."

His voice, sweetly beautiful, husky, and reminiscent of those who have gone before, and many of his songs, including the newest ones, such as "Broke Again," would be at home on a country music album from the early 90s (think Garth Books and "Friends in Low Places."

Laurel Lee and the Escapees, a powerful country group, is led by a strong singer and songwriter who began her career in Portland, Oregon. It was Laurel Lee's move to Jacksonville, Florida, that piloted the group's formation. Placing ads on Craigslist, Lee found her musical match and they took off. Having completed their fourth original album, Laurel Lee and the Escapees continue to stand out from the crowd with their witty, heartfelt lyrics and distinct collaborative sound.

Joe Nash

Joe Nash, songwriter and consultant for young music artists, now lives in Jacksonville.

Joe Nash, now of Jacksonville, left West Virginia to head to Nashville just after graduating from college. In Nashville, Joe worked for bands on the road, worked in the recording studio, and toured with his duo, Watson and Nash.

Ultimately, he earned a Masters's in Business at Belmont University, and now writes songs and mentors younger artists about their burgeoning music businesses. He is clear that writing songs remains his passion, and feels that helping younger artists has changed how he writes songs.

Quinn Loggins, a "legacy" singer/songwriter, wrote his first song at age 9 and it's framed on his dad's (Dave Loggins) desk. Three of his songs have achieved mention in the USA Songwriting Competition: "Footsteps of Grace," "Gotta Get Me Down," and "I Can't Be Alone." Quinn is a performer singer/songwriter with a strong and poignant voice, and sings frequently in his own shows, as an opening acts for John Mayer, AJ Croce, or Train, and in studios.

Mac McAnally

Mac McAnally is known as a singer/songwriter, though he feels his guitar skills are stronger than his singing. There is no debate about his musicianship as he has won the Musician of the Year from the Country Music Association an impressive (and current) total of 10 times.

As a songwriter, Mac says he just writes "whatever floats through my head." What goes through his head is pure gold, including songs made famous by Kenny Chesney, "Back Where I Come From;" Sawyer Brown, "All These Years;" and Alabama, "Old Flame."

Self-taught songwriter Dave Brainard paved the way for himself in Nashville with his career as a songwriter and music producer.

Dave Brainard's musical career officially began when he joined the band for the United States Air Force. His climb up the ladder continued in 2001 when Brainard started writing mostly country songs for Balmur Corus Music and then Bigger Picture Music Group. Along with playing on tour with David Nail, Jessica Andrews, Rebecca Lynn Howard, Anthony Smith, Marcel, and more, he also recorded Music Row demos for fellow songwriters like Dierks Bentley, Craig Monday, Chris Tompkins, Chris Wallin and others.
