  • Compass RV Park (formerly Indian Forest Campground) is a privately owned RV park that offers guests over 48 acres of wooded land, 105 RV sites for overnight camping, and a new vintage RV village with four vintage trailers that are available for rentals on a nightly or weekly basis.

The park is just 4.5 miles south of St. Augustine, and is convenient to the historic district, the beaches, and I-95. This year, the park will be offering live music on holiday weekends and Saturday nights in season.

Compass RV Park provides laundry facilities, showers, and air-conditioned bath houses. WiFi and Direct TV service are available, along with a new centrally located laundry facility. There's an activity center, a new fenced-in pet park, hiking trails, a community campfire, and even a half-acre pond for catch-and-release fishing. Most of the sites at this campground are shaded beneath large oak and pine trees. Complimentary shuttle transportation is available for Old Town Trolley Tours passengers during the day.

Compass RV Park features big rig sites, premium sites with patios, level pull-thrus and back-ins, full RV hook-ups, 50 and 30 amp FHU, cable, WiFi, and modem hook-up in office. This is solely an RV Park and no tents are allowed.

This is one of the best parks we've been to yet. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The owner is social and happy to see us. The park is clean and had doggy trash cans all over the place. The sites are wide. Easy utility setup. Our site was gravel but they do have paved patios. The only downer is low water pressure even after most of the park cleared out. Still doable but just putting that out there. We were here for the Independence Day week, still are here, and they had festivities and a band over the weekend. They had just received approval for the pool, so by the fall it should be in. Just in time for the snowbirds. This location is so close and convenient to the Ancient City. The "trolley" stops here, so you don't have to drive and pay for parking.

We stayed there in March '13 and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Pulled in with no reservations but were very satisfied with the sites, they were large and level. Park was not far from I-95 but close to downtown St.Augustine. TV antenna worked just fine. Would stay there again.
