First Coast Cart Tours uses premium low-speed vehicles with a state-of-the-art sound system, providing a comfortable ride and knowledgeable tours of St. Augustine.

The First Coast Cart Tours owner/operators and tour guides have lived in St. Augustine for years, are experienced tour guides, and are well-versed in St. Augustine's history. The company offers three group tours and a private tour experience.

The Carts

Group and private tours of up to seven people ensure comfortable seating in four rows. With only two passengers per row, each passenger has an unobstructed view during the entire tour.

The sound system enables every passenger to hear the tour guide, and the safety and decorative lights enable everyone to clearly see the steps as they get on and off the vehicle.

Meet Downtown or Use the Pick-up Service

If you don't opt for their pick-up service, First Coast Cart Tours meets you near the Visitor Information Center, at 10 S. Castillo Drive.

First Coast Cart Tours offers pick-up service on all tours to people in the West King, Lincolnville, and Historic Downtown neighborhoods. They're happy to meet your party at a restaurant, hotel, bed-and-breakfast, or your home or vacation rental.

Meet them outside and watch for the guide wearing a t-shirt with the First Coast Cart Tours logo. 

The Tours

First Coast Cart Tours offers three types of group tours: 

• Riding Through History Tour with Pick-up. This one-hour group tour is limited to seven guests ages three and older, and includes the most iconic landmarks in St. Augustine. The experienced guide offers knowledgeable commentary and answers your questions along the way. They will stop to let you take photos.
• St. Augustine Historical Food Tour with Pick-up. This is a three-hour tour during which you enjoy a four-course progressive late lunch or early dinner. The food and beverages are selected by a certified sommelier with input from a local historian. This tour is available for up to seven guests, ages eight and older. The tour departs from the Visitor Information Center or from your lodging in the Historic Downtown, Lincolnville, or West King Street.
• St. Augustine Ghost Tour with Pick-up. The meeting point for First Coast Cart's Ghost Tour is at 118 Avenida Menendez, near O.C. White's and the Municipal  Marina. If you did not request a pick-up, meet the tour on Avenida Menendez. This one-hour tour stops at the two cemeteries and several other locations while the guide relates chilling tales and stories of hauntings. The ghost tour takes guests on narrow, historic streets not accessible to tours aboard larger vehicles. 
• Book a Private Tour. The Private History Tour meets your party in West King, Lincolnville, or Historic Downtown. You can make suggestions for this 90-minute custom tour. If you want the guide to focus on architecture, the Spanish Colonial era, the Civil Rights era, or other subjects, simply let them know. First Coast Cart Tour guides are happy to create a unique tour for your party.

Just so you know

• Both group and private tours are available for up to seven passengers.
• The vehicles cannot carry wheelchairs or strollers.
• You cannot use infant seats. Passengers must be three or older.
• You must wear your seat belt at all times.
• The guide stops frequently so you can take photos.
• The History and Ghost Tours welcome lap pets at no charge. You will need to purchase a seat for your larger dog on the group tours. No pets are allowed on the Food Tours.

Cost

• The History Tours are $40.00 for teens and adults, and $26.00 for ages 3 to 12.
• The Ghost Tours are $39.00 for teens and adults, and $33.00 for ages 3 to 12.
• Food Tours are $135.00 per person.
