Ancient City Redfish Bash

The Ancient City Gamefish Association hosts the annual Ancient City Redfish Bash and Jr. Redfish Bash fishing tournaments on Friday and Saturday, March 6 and 7, 2026, at St. Augustine Marina, 245 Vilano Road. In this inshore tournament, anglers compete for prizes for the largest redfish.

Details of the Event

There is a mandatory Captains' meeting for all anglers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fishing begins at safe light on Saturday with the weigh-in from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. After the scores are recorded, awards will be given to the winners, participants with the biggest redfish. Only one place per angler. All anglers on the boat must be registered.

• 1st Place Redfish: $4,000.00
• 2nd Place Redfish: TBD
• 3rd Place Redfish: TBD

Note: Prizes are based on the number of anglers and are subject to change.

Admission: Free for spectators. Early registration for anglers is $65.00 per angler and $25.00 per jr. angler.  On the day of the event, registration is $75.00 for one angler, and $35.00 for each jr. angler. Register online before March 1 for early registration prices.
