St. Johns County Park Naturalists will lead four guided kayak tours through Durbin Creek in January.

The St. Johns County Parks Department offers kayak trips on Durbin Creek Thursday, January 27 through Sunday, January 30, 2022. A County Naturalist will lead the tours from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.

Beginning at the Durbin Creek Launch under the Racetrack Road overpass, 4936 Racetrack Road, St. Johns, FL 32259, the trip will provide participants with the opportunity to spend the day exploring the urban wilderness environment, learning about the local history, and discovering the flora and fauna found along one of St. Johns County's most scenic waterways. 

The fee is $20 for St. Johns County residents with their own kayak and $30 for non-residents. The fee is $40 per seat to attend the trip and reserve a county kayak and equipment; $50 for nonresidents. Seats are limited. Reservations are required to attend the trip or to use a county kayak.
