
Anastasia State Park offers guided bird walks throughout the year where you can learn about Florida's native birds and ecology. The next guided walks are Sunday, July 13, and Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 8:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Led by a park volunteer and naturalist, this nature walk is open to participants of all birding levels. Anastasia State Park boasts a variety of shore, marsh, and hammock birds. The walk leads you through the state park's beaches, boardwalks, and nature trails. Dress for the weather and bring binoculars, water, comfortable walking shoes, along with curiosity about Florida's wildlife
The tour begins at the Island Beach Shop and Grill at the end of the main park drive.
Admission: The guided bird walk is free with regular park admission: $8.00 per vehicle with up to eight people, $4.00 per vehicle with one occupant, and $2.00 for pedestrians/bicyclists.
