Anastasia State Park offers guided bird walks at several times each season, focusing on Florida's native birds and ecology. In February and March of 2026, guided walks are from 8:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., February 12 and 22, and March 8 and 17.
Led by a park volunteer and naturalist, this nature walk is open to participants of all birding levels. Anastasia State Park boasts a variety of shore, marsh, and hammock birds. The walk leads you through the state park's beaches, boardwalks, and nature trails. Dress for the weather and bring binoculars, water, comfortable walking shoes, and a curiosity about Florida's wildlife
The tour begins at the Island Beach Shop and Grill at the end of the main park drive.
Admission: The guided bird walk is free with regular park admission: $8.00 per vehicle with up to eight people, $4.00 per vehicle with one occupant, and $2.00 for pedestrians/bicyclists.
