On Saturday, March 28, 2026, Erin Tyson of Mandala Wellness and the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Reserve (GTMNERR) hosts a family-centered guided walk from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. starting at the trailhead, 505 Guana River Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
Event Details
Tyson leads a small group on a nature exploration that promotes cooperation, teamwork, and observation. The group walks along the diverse habitats of the reserve, working together on a scavenger hunt to promote curiosity in our natural world.
To ensure that all have the opportunity to learn and observe, this event is open to a limited number of participants. Registration is required.
About GTMNERR
The Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve is a protected stretch of land consisting of wetlands and estuaries on Florida's East Coast that actively works to maintain and help preserve the natural landscape of Florida. The GTMNERR's volunteers and employees are dedicated to preserving this unspoiled, undeveloped natural treasure and to supporting a vibrant ecosystem and its subsystems.
Admission: $20.00 per person and $60.00 for a family of four. You must register in advance.

Where: At the GTMNERR trailhead, inside the park gate, 505 Guana River Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida 32082
Parking: Drive past the Environmental Education Center, and pay $3.00 per car at the gate. The trailhead is past the dam, west of the public parking area.
