The First Annual Founder's Day Taste Fest will be a showcase of local food at the Fountain of Youth Archeological Park. Starting at noon, reenactors will be processing from Magnolia Street to the park. A Spanish encampment will be set up under the oak trees by the waterfront with a 1500s Spanish Thanksgiving Feast.

The event will feature a historically accurate colonial kitchen. From 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. several local restaurants will participate by cooking up and serving Spanish cuisine. The Founder's Day Taste Fest will be held at the events pavilion.

Admission: Standard park admission rates apply.

When? Saturday, September 6. 2014, 12-4 p.m.

Where? At the Fountain of Youth Archeological Park in the events pavilion.
