First Coast Offshore Challenge

First Coast Offshore Challenge 2014 (FCOC 2014) will be held from April 2 - 5. The challenge is a set of three offshore sailboat races that will cover over 100 miles of sea! All those wishing to participate, with a boat no less than 24-feet in length can do so! Please Visit Here for registration details.

FCOC 2014 will begin and end in St. Augustine, Florida. There will be a race and an awards ceremony/gathering all four days of the event. The First Coast Offshore Challenge is sponsored by the North Florida Cruising Club and the St. Augustine Yacht Club.

Registration: Admission prices vary. For the entire event registration is $375, for Race 1 Only it is $125, Race 2 Only $125, and Race 3 Only $125. Please Click Here to register online.

Regatta Rundown:

Skipper Crew/Briefing - April 1, 7:30 p.m. St. Augustine Yacht Club

RACE ONE - Triangle - April 2, 9:00 a.m. off St. Augustine Inlet

Race 1 is a long-distance around-the-buoys triangle race off St. Augustine Inlet. AWARDS DINNER & LIVE MUSIC - April 2, 7:30 p.m., Party Barge at Conch House Marina

RACE TWO - Out and Back - April 3, 9:00 a.m. off St. Augustine Inlet. Race 2 is a long distance race out to a longitudinal coordinate and back. The course will total approximately 40 miles. 

RACE TWO AWARDS BRUNCH & LIVE MUSIC - April 4, 10:30 a.m., St. Augustine Yacht Club

RACE THREE - Jax and Back - April 4-5, St. Augustine to St. Johns Sea Buoy and back

Race 3 begins late afternoon Friday and ends early Saturday. 

FINAL AWARDS DINNER & LIVE MUSIC - April 5, 7:30 p.m. at St. Augustine Yacht Club

Where? St. Augustine Beach, Florida 32080.

When? Wednesday, April 2 - Saturday, April 5, 2014. Races begin at different times all four days.
