Award-winning business writer and journalist Allan Sloan will host a Flagler College Forum on Government and Public Policy at the Lewis Auditorium on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, on the topic, "Don't Be Snowed by Big Numbers and Fine Print." He will address the issue of American corporations relocating abroad but still expecting the privileges of being here, as well as political dynamics and how Fortune Magazine became instrumental in changing the language of the national debate.

Senior Editor-at-Large at Fortune Magazine, Sloan has been writing about business for 35 years, and along the way he has won numerous honors, such as the Distinguished Achievement Award from the Society of American Business Editors and Writers in 2001 and the John Hancock Award for excellence in business and financial journalism. He is a six-time winner of the Gerald Loeb Award, most recently being honored with the Loeb Lifetime Achievement Award.

Flagler College's Forum on Government and Public Policy brings nationally recognized journalists, commentators, and speakers to St. Augustine to discuss issues at hand in regional, state, and federal government. This forum has promoted intellectual talk about government and public policy for over 30 years at Flagler College.
