  • Gold Tours of St. Augustine provides an option for small groups of people to take a private Nights of Lights tour aboard one of their quiet electric vehicles. The tours are narrated and are more personal in nature, with a maximum of six people per tour. The electric cars allow guests to get closer to some of the Nights of Lights displays — especially those that are located on narrow or less-traveled streets.

Gold Tours is run by Tom Ryan, Kelcie Lloyd and Dale Lloyd, three veteran St. Augustine tour guides who are passionate about the history and archeology of the Nation's Oldest City.

Nights of Lights tours are 45 minutes long and can accommodate up to six people. They depart at 6, 6:30, 7:30 and 8 p.m. There will be no tours on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or New Year's Eve.

The carts are sanitized between each tour, and face masks are encouraged during interactions with the guides.

The City of St. Augustine offers a Free Park and Ride Shuttle Service for Nights of Lights from November 20, to December 30, 2021. For information about operating times as well as pick-up and drop-off locations, visit here.
