The Guy Harvey Resort in St. Augustine will host a surf fishing workshop for women on both Saturday, November 18, and Sunday, November 19, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Noel Kuhn will instruct the students on bait, type of rigs, and how to cast. Those who do not have rods can share the ones Noel will provide, taking turns. If you have a rod, bring it. A shore license is required and is free for Florida residents. To get a license, go here and remember to bring it with you.

With admission, students will receive a pack of Fish Bites and coozies. 

Admission: Tickets are $85.00 per person., with a limit of ten people in the class. To register, go here.

When and Where: The hours and location vary with the seasons and change from spring to summer. 

  • August and September: the class is at 31 Surfside Avenue, St. Augustine Beach, from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m.
  • October and November: the class is at 860 A1A Beach Boulevard, St. Augustine Beach, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
