On Sunday, February 11, 2024, at noon, the St. Paul A.M.E. Church hosts a special presentation celebrating Black history and how Rhythms from Africa influenced dance and gospel music in America.
Led by Alesia Scott, featuring students from Everything Creative Dance Studio, "History of Black Rhythms" shares information and provides examples with live music and dance.
The presentation will be held in the meeting hall of the St. Paul A.M.E. Church, following the 10:45 a.m. worship service. All are invited to attend the service, presentation, or both. Everyone is encouraged to wear African attire.
