Stand-up comedian and actress Leslie Jones is best known for her breakout work on Saturday Night Live and her role in the hit film Ghostbusters. An Emmy Award-winning performer, Jones was born into a military family and grew up as an Army brat, drawing early inspiration from comedic legends like Whoopi Goldberg, Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, and John Ritter.

Jones began her comedy career in the 1980s by entering stand-up comedy competitions. She eventually moved to Los Angeles and New York City to refine her voice and stage presence. Jones made her SNL debut in 2013 to widespread acclaim. 

She became a featured cast member from seasons 40 to 44, sharing the stage with hosts like Chris Pratt, Andrew Garfield, and Bill Hader. Beyond the small screen, she's also appeared in films such as Trainwreck and Coming 2 America.
