The Let There Be Music series at St. Anastasia Catholic Church opens the 2026/27 season with "A Night on Broadway", featuring two local vocalists singing Broadway classics.

Let There Be Music Series

David Mach, music director for St. Anastasia Catholic Church, organizes the series. Mach is a pianist, organist, and instructor who often provides accompaniment for the series performers. The 2026/207 series includes a celebration of America's 250th in November, a guitar and archlute concert in January, a concert featuring Pergolesi's A Stabat Mater in March, and a Mayfest Concert celebrating Brahms, Beer, and Brats during the Romanza Festivale.

The September Performance

Vocalists Victoria Isernia and John Tibbetts, II are the evening's vocalists. Soprano Isernia performs throughout the U.S., as well as in Northeast Florida. This season she performs as Charlotte in Werther at Amelia Island Opera. She has performed in several Gilbert and Sullivan operas. Operatic baritone John Tibbets performs frequently in opera companies, including Pacific Opera Project, Union Avenue Opera, and Amelia Island Opera. He also performs in the U.S. as a guest soloist. Isernia and Tibbetts are a married couple, making their home in Northeast Florida, and active champions of operatic and vocal music in the area.

The program includes numbers from Broadway favorites, including Man of La Mancha and The Phantom of the Opera.

Pianists David Mach and Mimi Zahn accompany the vocalists.
