Please note: The Historic Lincolnville Festival has been cancelled for 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Organizers plan to bring this popular festival back in November of 2021.
The details below describe the 2019 Festival:
The annual Historic Lincolnville Festival will take place from Friday through Sunday, November 8 through 10, 2019. The free festival is a three-day celebration of the history and cultural importance of the Lincolnville community in St. Augustine, with music, dancing, great food and drink, and fun activities for the whole family.
In addition to live music, all three days of the festival will feature local vendors or arts and crafts as well as food, beer, wine and other beverages. Guests are welcome to bring blankets and chairs. There be a children's area with a moon bounce, game truck, and story time, as well as community updates and history discussions throughout the festival.
Based at the Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center in historic Lincolnville, this year's festival will include African dancers, live music every day, and Lincolnville oral history sessions. Friday evening is A Night of Jazz. featuring Doug Carn. Tickets for this concert will be $25 at the door or $20 if purchased in advance. Tickets may be purchased at the Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center at 102 ML King Ave. Call (904) 315-5124.
The historic festival started back in 1979 on Labor Day weekend. Originally called the Washington Street Festival, the Lincolnville Festival continues to be a favorite event in St. Augustine for residents and visitors alike.
Admission: Free admission on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets for the Friday Night of Jazz event will be $25 if purchased at the door and $20 if purchased in advance.
When: From 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8; from 12:00 noon to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9; and from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 10, 2019.
Where: The Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center is located at 102 ML King Ave.
Parking: Parking will be available at the First Baptist Church (89 St. Francis St.) and St. Cyprian Church (37 Lovett Street).
