Lincolnville Festival, 2025

Celebrate the historic Lincolnville neighborhood at the annual Lincolnville Festival, from Friday, November 7, through Sunday, November 9, 2025. This three-day festival highlights St. Augustine's Lincolnville community, its history, and cultural significance.

Friday, November 7

Three Lincolnville Museums Offer Free Admission from 10:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Friday only, for those with tickets to the Jazz/Veterans Night. 

Purchase a ticket in advance, and visit all three museums at no charge. The plan is to have all interested people travel to each museum in a group by trolley. The afternoon ends with a fish dinner at the Elks Lodge at 5:00 before the music. 

Jazz/Veterans Night from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m.

On Friday, November 7, from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m., get tickets to the Jazz/Veterans Night at the Elks Lodge, 100 Washington Street. Saxophonist Doug Carn headlines the night's performance.

Admission: $30.00 per person. You can purchase tickets in advance at the Best Richardson African Diaspora Literature & Culture Museum, 83 Washington Street.

Saturday, November 8

On Saturday, from 12:00 to 10:00 p.m., the party takes to the streets as the festival closes down Martin Luther King Avenue from St. Francis Street to King's Ferry Way.  

There are special activities for young people from noon to 5:00 p.m., including game trucks, food, and a stage with youth entertainment.

Live Music from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. includes:

  • Al & Anthony Jazz
  • Heart of Elaine
  • The Soulful Roots
  • Cellus (Afrobeats Artist)
  • King Jay Da Blountman

Throughout the day, participate in activities, enjoy food from several food trucks, and visit the vendor booths.

Park in the lot at the Catholic Church, 87 Martin Luther King Avenue, and bring a blanket or lawn chairs.

Sunday, November 9

On Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to noon, enjoy a Sunday Social with Danish, coffee, cocoa, and Jazz Gospel. The afternoon continues with Gospel in the Park from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.

The History of the Lincolnville Festival

The historic Festival started in 1979 on Labor Day weekend. Originally called the Washington Street Festival, the Lincolnville Festival celebrates the Lincolnville neighborhood, its history, and the people who live there. The festival is presented by the Lincolnville Historic Preservation and Restoration Society, which strives to stimulate preservation and community activism in the Lincolnville Historic District while maintaining the integrity of its structures and history.

Admission: Free admission on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets for the Friday Night Jazz event are $30.00. They are available in advance at the Best Richardson African Diaspora Literature & Culture Museum, 83 Washington Street. If you purchase a ticket, enjoy the complimentary museum tour and fish fry before the concert.
