St. Augustine's Romanza Festivale of Music and the Arts offers live music every day of the ten-day festival. "A Little Night Music" is the evening series of free concerts that takes place Monday - Friday, May 7 - 11, 2018. All the concerts are FREE and feature local musicians who represent the best of the local music scene while Romanza celebrates the arts in St. Augustine.

On Thursday, May 10, 2018, Matanzas Tap will lead off the evening with a dance performance from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. Bret Blackshear will follow with a concert from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

The Matanzas Tap dance group shows off their moves and their contagious energy as they perform on the Colonial Quarter's stage. Their teacher and choreographer, Judy Woodruff, is well known for her staging techniques and innovative costuming.

A North Carolina native, Bret Blackshear has been working as a professional musician for over 40 years. His musical style shows influences from jazz, soul, folk, and rock, and he has performed in multiple venues locally as well as at festivals such as Rock the Mountain in Tuxedo, NY.

The Colonial Quarter provides a beautiful backdrop with its stage and seating area nestled under the shade of ancient live oaks, all located in the heart of the historic area at 33 St. George Street.
