This local event remembers and celebrates those who have served our country.
Memorial Day Observance
Honor veterans on Monday, May 25, 2026, at the St. Augustine National Cemetery from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. This event is presented by the Ancient City Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America and the Veterans Council of St. Johns County.
The ceremony begins with music and the presentation of massed flags from area veterans organizations. Speakers will also read the names of local veterans who have died in the past year.
The guest speaker for 2026 is Lieutenant Governor Jay Collins.
Guests are encouraged to bring water and chairs to the event.
